Along with participating in regular Platform promotions, Joom merchants can also create their own promotion activities to get more traffic and boost sales on Joom. 

For now, there are two types of merchant promotions: Top Store Promotions, Merchant Discount.

Top Store Promotion

With Top Store Promotion, your products will get bonus traffic from multiple channels:

    Products are placed at the “Promotions” tab on Joom app;

    Banner on Joom website;

    Push notifications for your store's followers;

    Push notifications for other relevant audience.

Once the promo is running, anyone who sees the product may buy it with a discount.

Which Products Can Participate in the Promotion?

Product requirements for this promotion are as follows:

• Products should be from the top store that created the promotion;
• A minimum 10 products should be added to the promo, including at least 3 focus products.

How to Create a Top Store Promotion?

1. Go to Promotions page in Merchant Panel;

2. Click Create Promotion button on the right upper corner;

3. Fill in the General Info and click Add Products

• Promotion type - Top Store Promotion;
• Promotion Internal Name - enter any custom name for your promo, customers will not see it;
• Store - select the store participating in the promo;
• Select Start date and End date for your promotion.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: You cannot create multiple top store promotions for one store for the overlapping dates. Still, you can create multiple promotions for multiple top store at the same time.

4. Select products for the promotion and click Add Selected;

JOOM TIP: Use filters to quickly navigate in your products. 

5. Set the discount for the selected products;

If you wish to delete products from the promotion, please use the checkbox column to select them and click Delete.

6. Click Save.

Merchant Discount

All Joom merchants can create Merchant Discount promotions and attract more customers with the best prices for the products.

Once the promo is running, anyone who sees the product may buy it with a discount.

Which Products Can Participate in the Promotion?

In general, all products of all categories can be added to this promotion. The selected discount will be applied to all participation products with an “Available for promo” status.

However, the focus products can get bonus traffic, if their discount matches the recommended amount.  We recommend discounts for focus products to match the smallest product prices that these products reached in the last 60 days. The default reference discount for other products is 10%.

Bonus traffic for such products comes from multiple channels:

    Products are included in the promotion collections and placed at:

                 - “Promotions” tab on Joom app;

                 - category catalogs;

                 - product search.

    Push notifications for the relevant audience.

How to Create a Merchant Discount Promotion?

1. Go to Promotions page in Merchant Panel;

2. Press Create Promotion button on the right upper corner;

3. Fill in the General Info and click Add Products

• Promotion type - Merchant Discount;
• Promotion Internal Name - enter any custom name for your promo, customers will not see it;
• Select Start date and End date for your promotion.

NOTE: A promotion cannot last longer than 7 days. 

4. Select products for the promotion and click Add Selected;

JOOM TIP: Use filters to quickly navigate in your products. 

5. Set the discount for the selected products. Don't forget to check the Recommended discount column - if your focus products discount matches the recommended amount, they will get the bonus traffic;

The Bonus traffic column can help you to check if your focus products can get the additional traffic. Double-check if the focus product and discount you chose to comply with the promo requirements.

If you wish to delete products from the promotion, please use the checkbox column to select them and click Delete.

6. Click Save.
